Jackson Woods Labradors is a small family run kennel located in central NC. We raise top quality British Labrador Retrievers suitable for field, sport, service prospect, therapy, and family companion.
All of our dogs are raised in our home as part of the family, and trained for various disciplines. We train our dogs for hunt tests, obedience, rally, agility, and SAR. All breeding dogs are health tested according to the recommendations of the Labrador Retriever Club, Inc., and often we go beyond the recommended testing to do our part in preserving the health and integrity of the breed. We breed a few carefully planned litters per year. Puppies are raised using a combination of techniques from renowned programs such as Avidog and Puppy Culture. We are a dilute free kennel.

Vega of JWoods
Vega is our first British Labrador, and the one that made us fall in love with this breed. She has the whole package. Beauty, brains, and a pedigree that contains 17 titled dogs in 5 generations, including 9 FTCH, 2 FTW, and several International FTCH as well. Her lines include top performing dogs Craighorn Bracken, Leadburn Jamie, Tweedshot Trimble of Lettergreen, Leadburn Viceroy, Hillus Clyde, and Tasco Brimstone. To top it off, Vega is as sweet as they come. She is everyone's favorite. When she's not working, she is lovable, silly, and has a goofy smile. She has the quiet focus that the British field labs are known for. When it's time to go to work she really knows how to turn it on. She's a pleasure to train and is a real team player, picking up new tasks with very little repetition. Once she "gets it", she doesn't forget it. She's a dog that enjoys being precise. We are currently training her for Rally and hunt tests. We are planning her maiden litter for the spring of 2024. Contact us to get on a waiting list for one of her puppies.

HR Grayquill Fenlee of JWoods JH
Fenlee has some powerful dogs in her pedigree, and it shows. She is the most agile Labrador I have ever known. She is a young girl with incredible energy and drive. This is a puppy that truly wants to play the game, whatever it may be. We are focusing on agility, rally, and hunt test training with Fen. At 4 months of age she was tested on a few SAR drills and she is a natural. She is "all puppy" at the moment, but gives us glimpses of deep calm every now and then. I expect she'll mature into a very well rounded dog.

Dean is our newest addition. He comes to us from ColMorg Kennels in FL. Dean takes everything in stride and is a quick learner. He is very calm and easy going with a natural enthusiasm for retrieving. His pedigree speaks for itself and we can't wait to see what this little guy can accomplish.
